Editor’s note: Your donations for the children do more than provide necessities like a bed to sleep in and food to eat. God uses your prayers and generosity and transforms what could be seen as a simple living space into a blessed haven. The following is an edited excerpt from Hriilow Hriipuni, a former child of Sweet Home.

My life took a pivotal turn in 2011, when I found my Sweet Home family. This place became more than just a shelter; it was a nurturing sanctuary where I was enveloped in love, support, and a sense of belonging.

With many brothers and sisters by my side, we navigated the ups and downs of life together, creating a tapestry of shared laughter, dreams, and unforgettable memories.

Sweet Home was a life-changing source of inspiration, teaching me invaluable lessons about resilience, compassion, and the power of community.

The administration at Sweet Home played a crucial role in my journey, guiding me with unwavering support and encouragement.

After completing high school, I took a bold step toward my aspirations by enrolling at Spicer Adventist University to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). My college experience was nothing short of transformative.

Currently, I am working as a salesman. This role has allowed me to apply the skills I acquired in college while also developing new ones.

A note from Sweet Home: We hope and pray God will open an opportunity for Hriilow to join our church work either at Spicer University or in the field as a worker for the church.

As I reflect on my journey, I am filled with immense gratitude for ICC. Their unwavering support throughout my studies has been a beacon of hope that has allowed me to pursue my education and dreams without the burden of financial constraints.

Their belief in my potential has inspired me to strive for excellence and give back to the community that has given me so much.

I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the administration at Sweet Home. Their guidance and support have been instrumental in shaping my character and aspirations. They have been there for me every step of the way.

In conclusion, my journey into the professional world has been filled with challenges and triumphs. The love and lessons I received from my Sweet Home family, the support from ICC, and the guidance from the administration have been invaluable.
